This Zhuque (Scarlet Bird) Guzheng "Hong Meng" (Chaos Before the Birth of the Universe)  is an excellent and beautiful instrument, made with very high standards and quality craftsmanship.  Of note is the soundboard, which is air dried for over 6 years and carved from a single piece of Paulownia.  Decorated with a contemporary style painting of colorful gas. Strings of this zhuque guzheng feel very easy to play and the sound quality is mellow and well-resonated.
