Bio:
Candy Liang is an instructor at the Lotus Bud Guzheng Academy in Irvine. She received her professional Guzheng education from renowned Guzheng master Bei Bei Monter. Candy is an international instrumental competition winner, and is certified by the China Central Conservatory of Music as a professional Guzheng teacher. She is an experienced performer who has performed at many events such as the Bowers Museum 2017 SINO Cultural Day and 2018 Chinese Cultural Day, as well as the LA Times Food Night Festival, Cerritos Library “Guzheng Music Night”, and Burberry 2018 Spring Couture Promotion, also appearing with the OCMD Chamber Orchestra at the Richard Nixon Library for the 2020 Spring Festival. In an educational role she has lectured and performed at Colin Elementary School of Long Beach Unified School District, Turtle Rock Elementary School of Irvine Unified School District and various senior centers in Orange County.
